Tip of the month: Argentinian customs requirements

Dear customer,

Argentinian customs authorities has made it mandatory to provide ICS (Import Custom System) information. In case of incomplete AWB or FWB, your shipment cannot be forwarded to the final destination.

To make sure your shipments are properly handled and that you comply with the customs regulations, you need to provide the following information on the AWB or FWB at acceptance:

• CUIT number of the consignee for final destination Argentina
• HCC (Harmonized Commodity Code) number - or HS code - for final or transit destination Argentina

Please note that the HCC numer - or HS code - is mandatory also when transiting Argentina. In the AFKLMP network, the following flights are transiting Argentina:

AF0394,  MVD
KL0701,  SCL
MP6910, UIO
MP7340, UIO
