  Modify my booking: modify anytime, anywhere

  • Modify booking 24/7 at customers´ convenience;
  • Confirmed capacity retained while modifying booking;
  • Immediate access to alternatives at the best rate if space cannot be confirmed;
  • Select an existing booking in myCargo and modify all booking elements, except the AWB number.

  Update Shipment tracking screens

  • All shipment status data is now coming from the official API endpoint
  • On the dashboard tile there is the option to see directly the shipment list with all Not OK shipments. In the shipment list this ‘status´ filter has also more options. When you leave the page and come back the filter is reset.
  • In the Shipment list view we added columns for the LAT and Estimated pickup time.
  • On the shipment details screen the logic for the routemap is improved. More accurate information on what is really happening with the shipment.

  New Quote & Book flow

  • Connected myCargo to Sales API version 2
  • You can pick flights 14 days ahead (iso 13) if the flight is already loaded
  • Nature of goods selector added
  • Military question moved from step 1 to step 3
  • All quote offers can be saved for booking it later, they get an offer name (like passenger PNR)
  • For every quote offer we show what rate type is used. Spot rate, PA, CA etc.
  • When you have offers for General Cargo you can check also the Express product alternative and move back to General

  Contact us

  • New contact us tool focusing just on what you where looking for: relevant contact details.
  • Former map can still be found in the Network & Fleet menu under Where we fly and covers our Network, Product Network and Warehouse capabilities.

  Claims

  We removed one complete page from the 3 pages when filing a formal claim. The financial details we will no longer request upfront.

  Shipments

  • Fixed a bug in schedule tool when filtering on Full Freighters.
  • Contact details in shipment details page removed as it no longer worked properly. Alternative will come in time.

  Allotments

  Find an overview of your allotments in myCargo
  Theres an extra menu item added to the menu bar
  See how much of your allotment is filled
  In the BAR, when you make a booking we will show you an Allotment indicator if the booking will be booked into the allotment.

  Other Charges

  We fixed a bug where some OC showed as a charge basis ‘ basic normal ‘

  All other charges have a value (again)
  The expiry date is 2020 not 1999
  If the OC is different per weight brake it will be shown now in the unfold
  The drop down list of OC codes is now ordered alphabetically

  We now always show which product or product group the allotment is applicable for
  We also show the commodity and special handling code
  The Origin and Destination of the Allotment are now always correctly shown and prefilled if BOOK is selected

  myCargo

  • It is now made easier to download all rates or all other charges. To look for 1 route or download all is offered in 2 big blocks now.
  • We improved the Help functionality, bottom right of every page, you have more space in the pane to read the content and the option to open a separate window.
  • Informative messages will now automatically disappear within 5 seconds
  • We found some bugs in the schedule tool when shipping animals

  Update bug fixes new release myCargo

  We fixed some major and minor bugs we encountered after the go-live from our latest myCargo version. Due to this latest release we kindly would like to ask you to:

  Dear customer,
  
  Past Wednesday 11th September we went live with the new version of myCargo.
  We did notice some defects and we do apologize for the inconvenience caused. Our Digital teams are working hard on resolving these items. Below you can see what we´re currently working on to fix soon. 

  • Not being able to Track your Shipments via afklcargo.com (not myCargo) due to a redirect to the myCargo logon page – partly fixed, we are working on a full solution from our side. In the meantime you can track you shipments via this link: https://www.afklcargo.com/mycargo/shipment/singlesearch
  • Issues with saved URL´s in favorites / bookmarks. Although we are working on this issue, we kindly advice you to clear your cache and cookies to go to our new environment. The new URL of myCargo is: https://www.afklcargo.com/mycargo/account/login

  
  We are aware we face some other issues as well, on which we are also working. We will keep you informed about our fixes via this page.

  myCargo (general)

  • Left hand menu moved to the top of the screen. Top menu moved to down right under the question mark icon.
  • Language settings you can controle via mySettings by clicking on your initials logo top right. Users can also choose Chinese as a language now.
  • Design has been freshened up. Colours and fonts have changed. Visually handicapped users should find it easier to use myCargo
  • We kindly ask you that if you added the old url's to your favorites to replace them with the new ones. We also advice to clear your browser cache and cookies for a smooth experience.
  • Because of the recent release you might face problems with our website, please try to clear the cache of your browser (browser history) and retry.

  Quotation & Booking

  • Shipment details are now a lot easier to enter when requesting a quote or making a booking
  • Availability screen improved according some of your input
  • The scope of direct online bookable shipments has increased to more commodities, more volume and now covers main deck shipments

  Tracking & Tracing

  • Extra indicators added to the routemap in the shipment details page showing if the shipment was well accepted at check-in and picked-up at destination
  • At every page on the right pane we will show the details of the shipment and of the shipper and consignee
  • When you click on a flight number we will show actual flight status via a pop-up window (lay-over)

  mySettings

  • You can now subscribe to Freight On Hand status notification emails. Same for Cargo Receipt and Electronic AWB confirmation.

  Claims

  • When you file a formal claim you can directly insert your banking details (secured) so we can quicker pay-out if your claim would be granted

  Rates

  • We ask you to indicate a weight brake. The result screen is easier to read. At a glance you see if you have promo or contract rates available. By clicking on a line the unfold pane shows all weight brakes.
  • It will be no longer possible to view market rates only by filling in a general password. You are always requested to login to myCargo. So please create a myCargo account if you do not have one.

  myCargo

  • When making a booking we show on the check-out page what is the lastest acceptance time for your shipment
  • In your shipment list, when you click on any shipment, you can now click on the flight number to see the actual status of that flight. The real-time departure and arrival time will be shown including flight duration and flight time left.

  Profile

  • In mySettings, notifications, you can subscribe to email notifications, now you can add filters via ‘edit´ to receive e.g. only DEP messages for Pharma shipments or shipments above 1000kg or shipments heading to China
  • If you have problems with your account, creating, forgetting passwords we will recognize what is your specific issue and send an email with detailed instructions.

  Bug fixes

  • Last weeks you might have encountered problems with formal claims. These are all solved now
  • On the promotions page you might have missed the destination column. It is back again.

  • You can now subscribe to the ‘delivery notice´ and get this send to you by email (check mySettings in myCargo)
  • We have a more easier captha to check if you are not a robot. Now you only need to click ‘I´m not a robot´ instead of retyping a code

  • Fixed a bug where a shipment booked outside 14 days to departure that was queued showed ‘confirmed´

  • We remove the flag icon if your phone number is empty

  • When you request a booking confirmation by email it will have a new better designed lay-out
  • When you have no privileges for the Quote & Book tool the tile on the Dashboard will also not be shown

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes you saw rates that you could not book
  • When modifying your search we will remember your original input like origin, destination, date

  Claims tool

  • Fixed a bug with a link to the general conditions
  • When you have no privileges for the Claims tool the tile on the Dashboard will also not be shown

  • We increased the space on your screen for viewing and using this tool

  • We added Promo rates to the Find a rate chapter in myCargo. You can find now Market Rates, Contract Rates and Promotional Rates.
  • We made some small improvements to the Other Charges chapter. You can see OC for any country, export them to excel. Codes are ordered alphabetically and Destination codes are explained (click  with mouse). The disclaimer text takes up less space.

  • You Can now upload files up to 5 megabytes (was <2mb)
  • You can change the Commodity Group yourself if it isn´t correctly pre-loaded
  • You can see your own reference in the overview
  • It is easier to select your company, names are written in full and all readable as we stacked the labels

  Schedule tool

  • We make more clear what the aircraft type is , if this changes during a week for the same route.
  • When exporting to Excel we show in 2 characters the weekday instead only 1, to prevent confusion between T(uesdays) and T(Thursdays)

  Track and Trace

  • For your shipments which need cooling you can read the actual temperature of the cooler in the Amsterdam station (as in Paris)
  • Your myShipments list is improved as well as the quality of the information. Our online survey showed that you like the new designs a lot, we´re happy to hear that.

  API channel

  You can now have your own IT system connected to the one of AFKL Cargo. You can than request quotes and make bookings through your own system.
