Proflora is an excellent occasion for us to meet customers, acquire new perspectives on ways in which we might add value to their business, as well as continuously improve our logistics services, especially in the cool chain.
With the South America team, led by Enrique Falcon Deville, our SVP Sales and Distribution - Christophe Boucher, VP Verticals - Beatrice Delpuech, VP Americas – Ramon Delima and Director Fresh - Eric Mauroux, engaged in many fruitful, commercial conversations at our AFKLMP Booth, and were once more able to assess our continuing presence in this market.
During an event at the Dutch Ambassador´s residence on October 3 attended by Marjolijn Sonnema, the Netherlands´ Director-General of Agriculture and the Environment at the Department of Economic Affairs; Holland House; and major flower industry stakeholders – Christophe Boucher officially announced an increase in KLM´s BOG-CTG-AMS service from three to four weekly frequencies as of Summer 2018. This increased capacity is evidence of Air France KLM Group´s commitment to the Colombian market.
On October 5, we hosted a customer event to thank and reward our customers for their loyalty and trust in our expertise. These four packed days, were extremely well attended by our key partners, forwarders, shippers and consignees, and were once again an excellent occasion to show our commitment to the region for the years to come.
Next year, AFKLMP Cargo will attend the Agriflor 2018 Trade Show held in Quito, Ecuador, from October 3 to 5. Save the date!
