Throughout the winter season, Air France KLM Cargo will be increasing its footprint in the Egyptian market with a mix of belly and full-freighter capacity to and from its Paris CDG and Amsterdam Schiphol hubs, showing once again its commitment to be the partner airline to the African continent.
Air France will operate two B777 freighters during the season, and KLM Cargo will add a second weekly B747 freighter frequency as of January 2017 to complement its direct service on Mondays.
Air France will introduce its brand new B787-900 aircraft on the Cairo route as of January 2017 to replace its current six times weekly service using A330-200 equipment. KLM will suspend its thrice weekly B787-900 passenger service as of January 2017.
To ensure agility on the route, Air France Cargo will suspend its weekly freighter service to PHC and BZV as of January, while maintaining its A330-200 passenger services to both stations, 5 times a week and 3 times a week respectively.
