Mondrian goes Brazil!

eCommerceFeb - 03, 2016
Late January, AIR FRANCE KLM MARTINAIR Cargo shipped over 70 artworks by the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian from the Netherlands to Brazil. This very special cargo demanded specialist expertise and our teams were on hand to deliver this expertise throughout transportation.

On 18 - 19 January 2016, 50 paintings and 25 drawings by the renowned Dutch artist left the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag (The Hague´s museum of modern art) and were sent to Sao Paulo in two different shipments. The artworks left Amsterdam Airport Schiphol aboard KLM´s scheduled Boeing 777 flight, comfortably secured in highly protective packaging. Goodbye winter and rainy weather, hello sunny summer! During the coming year, this colourful and angular collection will tour Brazil, visiting Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte and finally Rio de Janeiro.
