New all-electric truck

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the sustainability of our infrastructure, in June 2023, we will be partnering with Prevost to launch a new, all-electric truck for use as a shuttle in the Paris area.

Groupe Prevost is one of our primary truck suppliers and is a key player in the world of transportation. Established in France in 1977, the Prevost group serves a variety of industries, from automotive and airfreight to pharmaceuticals and retail.

This newly developed truck will result in a reduction of 97% of CO2 emissions as compared to diesel, resulting in a reduction of 2,000+ tonnes of CO2 emissions a year for AFKLMP Cargo.

Thanks to its significant reduction in CO2 emissions, the introduction of this new truck reinforces our commitment to constantly improving the sustainability of our network and processes.

The adoption of electric vehicles amongst our transport chains not only helps reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions but gets us one step closer to our overall goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

We hope that by incorporating electric trucks into our operations, we will not only improve local air quality and reduce noise pollution but serve as encouragement to the industry at large to follow in similar carbon-reduction measures.
