Update on CDG G1XL – OPS system migration

GeneralMar - 18, 2024
As we continue with our main operational IT system migration at our Paris CDG warehouse, we want to keep you informed about any potential impacts on your cargo shipments.

It has been twelve days since the migration process began, and while it has presented more challenges than anticipated, we are pleased to report significant improvements. We are confident that we can continue to gradually recover to normal levels of service.

While our available capacity has not fully recovered yet, we are happy to announce that restrictions on new bookings to, from, and via Paris CDG will be gradually lifted as of today. However, please note that Dangerous Goods (DGR) import/export shipments, transitting Paris CDG, remain temporarily restricted due to their specialised nature and the extra attention required, particularly on the IT front. We will inform you promptly once this restriction is lifted. This restriction does not affect DGR shipments booked on AF Full Freighter flights.

Unfortunately, we must also address the ongoing challenge we face in tracing cargo shipments already within our warehouse and system. This difficulty hampers our ability to provide accurate information regarding these shipments. We take this matter seriously and are actively working with a dedicated team, addressing each case individually, to rectify the situation. As a result, there may be instances where our customer service representatives are unable to provide the information you need. We apologize for this but encourage you to keep reaching out with any questions or concerns. We are committed to assisting you to the best of our ability.
