Boeing 747 - 400 ERF

A full freighter aircraft bringing much needed capacity to varying destinations.

Both Air France and KLM have Boeing 747-400 ERF aircraft in their fleet. Air France was the launch carrier of this latest extended range freighter, the Boeing 747-400 ERF.

From a commercial standpoint, this aircraft offers several important new features compared with its predecessors:
 
  • Increased payload (up to 112 tonnes).
  • Greater capacity (particularly with the additional pallet position on the main deck.
  • 40% more operating range at maximum weight.
  • The possibility of 6 seats a flight for customers accompanying their freight.
