Mangoes Express: All aboard!

General CargoApr - 14, 2017
For the second consecutive year, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo will be routing a B777 Freighter to Abidjan to respond to the peak season for mangoes in Ivory Coast.

In April and May, flight AF6744 will take off every Tuesday (at 4:40 am local time) from Abidjan Félix-Houphouët-Boigny (ABJ) with a full load of mangoes, ripe to the max for the best taste.

This precious, juicy cargo will reach the European continent, from South to North, including the Paris Rungis perishables market of course, in dedicated cool trucks to ensure the perfect freshness of the mangoes. The mangoes are cropped ripe from the trees in the Korogho region, approximately 9 hours north of Abidjan. The short logistics process ensures that the mangoes end up on consumers´ plates in their tastiest form.
